Biography on Gorilla Zoe

Gorilla Zoe is an American hip hop artist from Atlanta, Georgia. He is a member of the Bad Boy Records group Boyz n da Hood, in which he replaced Young Jeezy, Mathis first saw success after his single Hood Nigga exploded through the scene and then backing up Yung Joc on songs including Coffee Shop and Bottle Poppin', which charted under several Billboard categories. His first solo album, Welcome to the Zoo, was released in October of 2007, which peaked at #18 on the Billboard Top 200, #3 on Top Rap Albums, and #8 on Top R&B Albums.
